How Goo works
Goo is designed by humans and styled by AI. Here's exactly what Goo does with what you type, and where its limits are.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
What Goo does
When you type a keyword, Goo matches it to a style theme from our design team, picks pieces from our catalog and fits them to your budget. If you choose a style, the outfit illustrations change to match. Prices and products always come from our catalog; the AI doesn't invent them.
Where AI is used
Matching your keyword and building your Goo Look is done by our own software. For a short, personal note about your outfit, we may send your keyword, your choices (who it's for, occasion, style) and the list of selected products to an AI model provider, Anthropic (Claude). The provider processes this to write the note and doesn't receive your name, email or payment details.
The note (shown as “Goo says”) can only describe products already in your Goo Look. It isn't allowed to add products, quote prices, promise delivery dates or guess things about you.
What we don't do
- We don't store what you tell Goo or link them to an account.
- We don't profile you from your browsing or use Goo to target ads.
- We don't present illustrations as product photos. Outfit pictures are labeled as illustrations.
Limits
Goo is a source of ideas, not professional advice. It can misunderstand unusual keywords; when that happens it shows an everyday set and says so. Always check the product page for materials, sizes and the exact print before you buy.
Try-on (coming soon)
We're developing a preview of your Goo Look on your own photo. When it launches: you can only upload a photo of yourself (or one you have permission to use); previews will be labeled as AI-generated; photos will be deleted after processing unless you choose to keep them; and we'll update this page and our privacy policy before launch.
